AGU-1

Aircraft Gateway Unit

The AGU-1 Aircraft Gateway Unit is a compact and robust sensor package that captures vehicle telemetry in the cloud to power asset tracking, performance and safety solutions.

Delivering real-time GPS tracking, event detection, remote diagnostics and fleet hardware management capabilities the AGU-1 enables the next generation of fleet analytics, government reporting compliance and safety software applications.

Fully compatible with Airborne Mission Systems AFDAU-T1 (Aerial Firefighting Data Acquisition Unit), this powerful duo provides an extensive set of airframe sensor integrations making Firefighting and Government Agency real-time reporting compliance simple.

AGU-1
Connectivity

Primary connectivity is via 4G LTE CAT-1 cellular and a globally activated* sim card. Fail-over to an internal Satellite Iridium SBD modem provides continuous world-wide event reporting and messaging in remote locations. Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth provide additional connectivity to other communication solutions as well AMS apps.

NAFC, U.S. Forestry and CONAF Agency Compliance

The AGU-1 provides the base level of real-time GPS tracking requirements for Aerial Firefighting agency requirements, with cloud integrations to major software data delivery solutions such as v2track and Tracplus. Learn more about Aerial Firefighting Agency compliance here.

Event Reporting

Engine Start/Stop, Take-off/Landing and Hover Entry & Exit event messages are detected via external sensors configured on the AGU-1’s discrete input pins or via AFDAU-T1 integration.

Data and Hardware Management Solution

The AGU-1 is a part of the Airborne Mission Systems complete cloud based data and hardware management solution, providing over-the-air software updates, configuration and device management.
